In the so-called "Wäldchen" (little forest), the Society of Friends is having an adventure and amusement area built for children and young people. With this extensive tree house landscape at the back of the park, families can add another highlight to their visit to the museum.

Groups and school classes from the district of Kleve can book an educational program, explore the museum under expert guidance, and experiment with their ideas in the art workshop. The Society of Friends provides a bus that takes school classes directly from their school to the museum and back again.

The Museum Schloss Moyland Foundation awards together with the Society of Friends of the Museum Schloss Moyland and the Volksbank Kleverland eG the Joseph Beuys Preis für Forschung (Joseph Beuys Research Prize). With this research prize, the Museum Schloss Moyland Foundation aims to nurture young academic talent and to intensify international research activity on Joseph Beuys.
