Hydrangea festival

Saturday/Sunday, 11th/12th of July 2020

Magnificent flower heads, loose lacecap flowers or dense panicles – the wealth of shapes and colours in hydrangeas is delightful. More than 530 different types of hydrangeas and over 2000 plants grow around the prize-winning historical Moyland castle and gardens, including a new species named after Schloss Moyland itself. More than a hundred historical and contemporary varieties of hydrangea grace the park of Schloss Moyland Museum and not only from a cultural historical viewpoint. The integration of the hydrangea collection into the park grounds brings new flower and colour splendour and enhances the whole Moyland experience of art, castle and park.
